Just A Simple Granola Recipe

It’s mind-blowing how often we forget that homemade is better. That’s certainly the case with granola. This recipe is simple and basic – so make it your own! Add chocolate chips, nuts, or whatever you want!

 

Yields 4 cups

 

Ingredients

2c organic rolled oats

1/2c pumpkin seeds

1/2c dried cranberries

3T coconut oil

3T honey

3T light brown sugar

1t cinnamon

Pinch of salt

 

Preheat oven to 350F.

 

Combine oats, seeds and cranberries in a large mixing bowl. Set aside. In a separate mixing bowl whisk together coconut oil, honey, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Pour oil mixture over oat mixture and toss until evenly coated. Spread granola on a parchment lined sheet tray and pop in the oven. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.

 

Remove from oven and cool completely. Serve plain, over yogurt or with sliced fruit. The world’s your parfait!
